you can walk away from all these
move on to another phase
a whole new world.
though it doesn't feel all that safe
but it's so easy to just walk away.
will it be a step filled with regrets
does it matter if no one really cares
you stand alone
haven't you, all along?
no more facade,
just the real face
who could ever understand this?
which is more important
to understand or to be understood.

only to brush pass the hustle of life
so carelessly whisper into the ears of the winds
to only realise there's more to it
more to the winds that howl to melodies
more to the sun that shines through your skin
more to the smiles that gave way to my sheepish grins

to walk on is easy. feeling of insecurities is a norm. but to look back and regret is difficult.
